WP Engine is seeking a Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and evolve global compensation programs, including cash, bonus, and equity, at a strategic level. You will leverage Workday Advanced Compensation, build transparent pay structures, and partner with executives to align pay with business goals from a distributed, technology-driven team.

The role requires 10+ years in high-tech compensation, strong modeling, and global expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-tech/SaaS compensation with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on Workday Advanced Compensation configuration and modeling.
• Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory nuances.
• Strong modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.
• Ability to influence, consult, and present to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business goals.
• Design global pay transparency structures and ensure compliance across regions.
• Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity cycles in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling for hires and renewals.
• Lead job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise executives and HR partners on compensation decisions and talent strategies.
• Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation alignment.
