Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and evolve our global compensation programs. You will lead cash, bonus, and equity strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends in a distributed, Workday-driven environment.

You will champion pay transparency, oversee cycles, and advise executives. This role requires 10+ years in tech SaaS comp, Workday expertise, and cross-functional collaboration across geographies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience within the high-tech/SaaS industry, with at least 3 years in a lead advisory capacity.
• Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory environments.
• Master-level compensation modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.
• Ability to influence and present to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design global pay transparency structures compliant with EU and US laws.
• Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity cycles within Workday.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with senior leadership.
• Lead global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise EE Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and executives on compensation decisions.
• Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation.
