Job summary

WP Engine is hiring a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and evolve global compensation programs across cash, bonus, and equity. You will lead pay transparency initiatives, oversee annual cycles, and partner with executives to drive market-aligned pay structures for a distributed, Workday-based environment.

You will shape job architectures, lead cross-functional workstreams, and advise leadership on high-impact compensation decisions.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS industries.
Hands-on configuration in Workday Advanced Compensation.
Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory environments.
Master-level modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.

Responsibilities

Compensation Leadership: Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity strategies aligned with business objectives.
Pay Transparency & Equity: Champion global transparency readiness and compliant structures.
Global Cycles: Direct annual merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles with finance.
Executive & Equity Compensation: Support design and modeling with Sr Director Total Rewards.
Job Architecture & Scaling: Lead global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
Business Consulting: Advise EE Business Partners and executives on compensation decisions.
M&A Integration: Conduct due diligence and map new talent to existing structures.
