Job summary

WP Engine seeks a Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead global compensation programs, including cash, bonus, and equity. You will shape pay strategies, ensure transparency, and align with business goals.

You’ll work in a Workday-based environment and influence executive partners while guiding a distributed, remote-first workforce. You will drive modeling, compliance with pay transparency laws, and the design of scalable job architectures.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS industry.
Workday Advanced Compensation hands-on configuration.
Global compensation structures knowledge and regulatory awareness.
Strategic modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.
Ability to influence, consult with, and present to senior executives.

Responsibilities

Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Champion global pay transparency readiness including regulatory compliance.
Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday.
Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with senior leadership.
Lead design and evolution of global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and salary structures.
Advise EE Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and senior leaders on compensation decisions.
Drive due diligence and post-merger integration strategies for compensation.
