Job summary

Ipas is seeking an Audience Insights and Engagement Advisor to strengthen engagement across its communications channels with data-driven approaches. You will work with Communications, Development, and country teams to design audience-informed strategies and campaigns that align with organizational priorities.

You will develop strategies grounded in data, track audience behavior across social media, email, web, and events, and design reporting systems that translate findings into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital technology or related field.
• Five years of experience in social/digital marketing and strategic communications in media, non-profit, or agency environment.
• Familiarity with social justice and human rights causes and initiatives.
• Fluency in multiple social media platform management tools and trends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audience engagement strategies grounded in audience insights, channel performance, and clear communications goals, coordinating with Communications colleagues to ensure alignment with the overall editorial calendar and organizational priorities.
• Track and interpret audience behavior, feedback, and engagement across communications channels, including social media, email, web, publications, campaigns, events, and other audience-facing initiatives.
• Design and maintain reporting systems that measure reach, engagement, conversion, audience growth, message resonance, and campaign effectiveness, translating data into practical recommendations for decision-making.
• Exercise decision-making authority for routine audience engagement, channel optimization, and performance reporting decisions within approved communications strategies and budgets.
• Guide country teams in developing audience-informed communications approaches that reflect the Ipas brand and use audience and performance data to inform strategy, message development, and channel choices.
