Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. seeks a Specialty Business Manager – IBD to cover the Georgia territory (Columbus, Fayetteville, Macon, Savannah, Augusta) from a virtual base.

You will present clinical value, expand relationships with gastroenterologists and hospital staff, and execute local marketing strategies to achieve sales goals. The role requires a BA/BS and 3+ years pharmaceutical sales, with GI/IBD experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 3+ years selling pharma/biotech; or 2+ years at Takeda; 5 years preferred.
• Strong business planning and strategic ability to identify opportunities in a changing market.
• Excellent verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills.
• Reside within or near the assigned Georgia territory.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding education and procedures for accounts.
• Deliver the clinical value proposition and educate healthcare providers.
• Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs.
• Manage accounts in GI practices, clinics and hospital sites in GA.
• Meet sales goals by delivering specialty product volume and other metrics.
• Build relationships with decision makers and influencers in target customers.
• Present complex clinical and business information to surgeons and GI specialists.
• Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
