Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide virtual practice focusing on mental healthcare for older adults. We fill your caseload, handle admin work, and provide clinical support, all from home. Therapists work on a fee-for-service basis with flexible part-time or full-time options.

As a licensed therapist, you’ll deliver psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth, design personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a supportive care team while using streamlined EMR and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.
• Licensed in Ohio
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings

Skills

Independent clinical license

Licensed in Ohio

Master's or Doctoral degree

Experience with older adults

Telehealth and EHR familiarity

Medicare billing experience a plus

Education
