Job summary

National Power, LLC seeks an experienced Generator Technician to lead and supervise service operations for customers and teams. You will train and direct a group of service technicians who startup, service, and repair industrial generators and related equipment, including Bypass Isolation ATS.

The role requires hands-on technical proficiency, leadership, and the ability to manage safety, quality control, and customer relations across an assigned geography.

Qualifications

• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training is required.
• Experience supervising service technicians in field operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians within geographic territory.
• Evaluate performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs.
• Identify and assign team members to provide field support and mentorship.
• Partner with Service Director to resolve performance or behavioral issues and staffing needs.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring of field service technicians.
• Serve as first point of contact for phone and field support, including troubleshooting and parts delivery.
• Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance, startup, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and related equipment.
• Lead safety initiatives and oversight for all technicians in assigned geography.
• Drive and promote continuous improvement of field operations.
