Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a General Liability Claim Consultant to manage full lifecycle, multi-line claims from a remote role reporting to Chicago, IL. The position emphasizes quality claim handling, reserves, and client communication within established standards.

Key responsibilities include investigation, negotiation of disputed bills, and supervision of vendor work. Candidates should have 5+ years of multi-line experience and a bachelor’s degree; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-line claim experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Adjuster license may be required depending on jurisdiction.
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is highly valued but not required.
• Experience handling Elevator Claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust multi-line claims.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations.
• Review and approve or oversee medical, legal, and invoices.
• Negotiate disputed bills or invoices for resolution.
• Authorize and make payments of multi-line claims within authority.
• Negotiate settlements per standards and state laws.
• Supervise designated files sent to outside vendors.
• Monitor subrogation claims and prepare status reports.
• Coordinate communication with clients and claimants throughout the process.
• Conduct claim reviews or trainings for clients as requested.
