Job summary

CCMSI, a leading third-party administrator, seeks a Multi-Line Claim Consultant to manage liability claims for a national hospitality account in a remote setting. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims from assignment through final resolution, ensuring compliance with client standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of liability claims handling experience.
• Active Adjuster License or Designated Home State (DHS) License.
• Experience managing claims from investigation through resolution.
• Experience handling Premises Liability, Bodily Injury, and Property Damage claims.
• Ability to independently manage a claim inventory of approximately 130 files.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable attendance during established business hours.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust liability claims from assignment through closure.
• Handle premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims.
• Conduct liability investigations and analyze coverage, damages, and exposure.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim development.
• Review medical records, invoices, legal documentation, repair estimates, and related claim materials.
• Authorize and process claim payments within authority levels.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and authorized representatives.
• Manage litigated files and coordinate with defense counsel when appropriate.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Prepare claim reports, reserve recommendations, excess notifications, and file summaries.
• Coordinate communications with clients, claimants, vendors, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain timely diary management and accurate claim documentation.
• Participate in claim reviews, training sessions, mediations, hearings, and settlement conferences as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards and client-specific handling requirements.
