Job summary

CCMSI is seeking an Auto & GL Claim Consultant in the Chicago area with remote work options. The role involves full lifecycle management of multi-line auto and general liability claims, from investigation to settlements, within strict standards and client instructions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of multi-line claims experience, excellent communication, and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust multi-line claims per standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations within authority.
• Review or oversee medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices for reasonableness.
• Negotiate disputed bills or invoices to resolve them.
• Authorize and pay multi-line claims per procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements within standards and state laws as appropriate.
• Assist in selecting and supervising outside vendors for multi-line files.
• Assess subrogation claims and maintain diaries; prepare status reports.
