Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Line Claim Consultant to handle end-to-end ML claims in a hybrid setup, reporting to the Chicago region. The role emphasizes investigation, adjustment, reserves, and settlements with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of multi-line claim experience; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years multi-line claim experience is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust multi-line claims in accordance with standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations.
• Review or oversee medical, legal, invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize and pay multi-line claims within authority.
• Negotiate settlements following standards and state laws.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for designated files.
• Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
• Prepare reports detailing claim status, payments and reserves.
