Qualifications

• 8+ years multi-line claim experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is highly valued but not required.
• Experience handling municipal claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust multi-line claims.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations.
• Review and approve medical, legal, and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize payments within claim procedures.
• Negotiate settlements per standards and state laws.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
• Maintain diary on claim system.
• Monitor subrogation claims.
• Compute disability rates per state laws.
• Coordinate with clients, claimants, and others.
• Provide notices to excess/reinsurance.
• Ensure compliance with claim standards.
