Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP, a national creditors’ rights law firm, seeks an Associate General Counsel to join our remote team. You will provide legal guidance across contracts, governance, and regulatory matters, helping the firm navigate complex obligations while serving clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., 5–10 years of commercial-contracting experience, and a proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage litigation with outside counsel.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership in good standing.
• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, including commercial contracting.
• Experience managing litigation and outside counsel.
• Experience supporting governance, entity management, or corporate-secretary functions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate client retention, vendor, technology, licensing, confidentiality, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise business leaders on contractual, regulatory, operational, and reputational risk.
• Manage contract matters from intake through execution.
• Assist with oversight of litigation matters, including outside counsel and budgets.
• Support corporate governance and entity-management functions, including filings and board minutes.
