Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Associate General Counsel based in the United States. The role serves as a senior legal advisor to executive leadership, providing business-focused counsel across employment law, litigation, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.

You will oversee litigation strategy, manage external counsel, and guide workforce-related matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. licensure.
• 7+ years legal experience; 10+ preferred; in-house and diverse practice.
• Experience in employment law, litigation management, contracts, regulatory compliance.
• Ability to advise executives with practical business guidance.
• Experience supervising attorneys or staff.
• Regulatory knowledge in healthcare/home care preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness for flexible hours and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on employment law and workforce matters to leadership.
• Oversee litigation portfolio and manage external counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Advise on regulatory obligations and strengthen compliance across org.
• Lead and supervise the Privacy Officer & Corporate Counsel and improve processes.
• Prepare legal memoranda, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with HR, Compliance, Finance, and Operations.
• Oversee enhancement of internal templates and workflows.
