Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Full Stack Java Engineer to design, develop and support scalable cloud-native applications powering Workforce Management and CX. You will use Java and Spring Boot for backend services and React with TypeScript for frontend components, with Node.js where appropriate.

The role is hands-on, requiring strong fundamentals and experience with WFM or contact center solutions is a plus. Collaboration with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and Architecture is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, especially Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing.
• Frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern testing practices.
• Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, or tooling.
• Experience creating REST APIs, microservices in distributed environments.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling in PostgreSQL or similar.
• Experience with cloud-based and containerized applications.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for client-facing work.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API design.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and best practices.
• Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, reusable components, responsive layouts, and accessible patterns.
• Develop and consume REST APIs with OpenAPI contracts and error handling.
• Contribute to modular, maintainable microservices with appropriate design patterns.
• Use Node.js where appropriate for lightweight services and integrations.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries with integrity and performance in mind.
• Integrate with internal and external systems via REST, webhooks, and messaging patterns.
• Containerize applications and contribute to cloud deployment patterns and config management.
• Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and quality gates.
• Instrument apps with logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable error reporting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and other engineers in design and reviews.
