Job summary

Mission.dev is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote-first, high-impact role within a growing professional marketplace. You will design and maintain features end-to-end, from architectural planning to deployment, while collaborating with product and design teams.

You will build across the full stack with React Native and backend services, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to robust infrastructure and observability for fast, reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient with mobile development frameworks, especially React Native.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Express, React, and AWS.
• Experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions by collaborating with product managers and designers.
• Develop and maintain features across the full stack using React Native and backend services.
• Architect scalable, high-performance systems during design discussions.
• Ensure code quality via peer reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
• Manage the full testing lifecycle with unit and end-to-end tests.
• Resolve production issues and improve observability for reliability.
• Optimize CI/CD workflows and deployment processes with infra teams.
