Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain features across a production healthcare platform. You will work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RPC-based services in an Agile environment on a US-based, remote-friendly contract-to-hire basis.

Collaborate with product, QA, and design teams, handle sensitive regulated data, and contribute to AI/ML-adjacent codebases while growing your skills through mentorship and flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML-adjacent codebases (LLM or agent systems) is a plus.
• Experience building systems handling sensitive data (healthcare/fintech) preferred.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving orientation.
• Proficient with GitHub, Slack, and JIRA for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend with React, Next.js, TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Contribute to AI/LLM-adjacent codebases.
• Work on systems handling sensitive healthcare or regulated data.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and design in an Agile environment.
