Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer (Edifecs) for a remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs program. The job requires extensive manual and automated testing, strong SDLC and Agile skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ten-plus years of professional experience and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance are required. Edifecs, ISTQB/CSTE/CSQA certifications are valued.

Formación

• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to write and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter/Gatling.
• Experience with Edifecs and X12 EDI workflows is highly valued.
• Able to work with COTS products and security testing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to meet requirements.
• Create test schedules, approaches, and data for scenarios.
• Write test scripts and validate data for testing.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers, Project Leads, and Developers.
• Perform tests to ensure operations and defect-free software.
• Document and communicate test results and metrics.
• Support analysis and resolution of open issues.
• Contribute to development of future configurations and improvements.
• Produce daily test metrics and reporting; assist with other IT testing tasks.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure quality in a remote, US-based setup.
