Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Full Stack Developer with Edifecs expertise for a remote role focused on the Veterans Affairs (VA) program. The position requires a Public Trust (MBI) clearance and about 10+ years of experience delivering complex software solutions.

The role emphasizes test planning, automated/manual testing, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and EDIFECS/EDI knowledge. This is a 100% U.S.-based remote, W-2 opportunity.

Formación

• A proven track record of working on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Jira and Bugzilla.
• Understanding of performance testing with JMeter and Gatling.
• Knowledge of Edifecs and EDI transactions.
• Understanding of security testing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure information systems meet standards and requirements.
• Develop test schedules and approaches; write test cases and data for scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and leads; perform/lead tests of IT systems.
• Verify work products using defined methods and environments; document results.
• Provide analysis support and resolve open issues; create daily test metrics.
