Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to contribute to the design, build, and support of the BAS solution for a Washington, DC based client. This remote role requires US citizenship and a Public Trust clearance.

You will work with SAP Analytics Cloud, develop interactive UI/UX components with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, and participate in code reviews to ensure scalable, performant web applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• 2 years of software engineering experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats such as XML/JSON
• U.S. citizenship required to maintain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or modern web technologies
• Review application requirements and interface designs
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components
• Monitor front-end performance and optimize for scalability
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members
