Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to contribute to the design, build, support, and implementation of the BAS solution. This is a remote role supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

This position focuses on developing interactive UI components, performance optimization, and integration with SAC Analytics Designer, using SAP Analytics Cloud and JavaScript technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent job experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience across front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
• REST APIs experience and ability to work with XML/JSON data formats.
• OO programming/design, Web Development and debugging.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong programming and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web tech.
• Review requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and updates.
• Provide feedback on UI/UX design feasibility.
• Optimize apps for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate with the team.
