Job summary
Ardigen is seeking a Business Development Director for the West Coast to drive growth across the Western US. You will translate complex computational solutions into strategic business opportunities, engaging with C-level executives in Big Pharma and biotech to expand Ardigen’s client base.
You will manage ongoing client relationships, source new opportunities, collaborate with product and development teams to shape offers, and maintain a robust sales pipeline while attending industry events to
Qualifications
- Master's degree required; PhD a plus, preferably life sciences.
- Based on US West Coast; minimum 5 years selling services or consulting in pharma/biotech.
- Familiar with Drug Discovery; knowledge in bioinformatics, AI/ML, software engineering, data science.
- Fluent English, strong presentation skills; consultative, results-driven.
Responsibilities
- Proactive new business generation on West Coast US.
- Manage existing relationships and up-sell new solutions.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and source opportunities.
- Collaborate with development team to shape the offer.
- Engage with senior decision-makers (C-level).
- Maintain and develop prospect/database.
- Develop knowledge across Ardigen products and services.
- Attend industry conferences to develop new business.
- Monitor drug discovery market trends.
- Provide insights into the Business Unit strategy.
