Job summary

Logixs Search is assisting a US freight brokerage in seeking an experienced Brokerage Sales Executive to drive growth and profitability. The role supports remote US-based candidates, focusing on open-deck and flatbed freight, pricing strategy, and carrier management.

You will manage shipments end-to-end, secure reliable carriers, negotiate rates, and maintain high service levels while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of freight brokerage experience.
• Flatbed experience and open-deck knowledge.
• Proven pricing and rate negotiation skills.
• Strong gross profit management and commercial awareness.
• Experience in a small to mid-sized freight brokerage preferred.
• Stable employment history and demonstrable performance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipments from cradle to grave.
• Source, negotiate with and maintain relationships with reliable carriers.
• Price freight competitively while protecting gross profit margins.
• Coordinate load planning, dispatch, shipment tracking and delivery updates.
• Resolve operational issues proactively and communicate effectively with customers and carriers.
• Negotiate rates and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Maintain strong carrier relationships and deliver a high standard of service.
• Work independently while contributing to the wider team's success.
