Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers to secure consistent, profitable freight opportunities.
• Prospect, negotiate, and close new freight business.
• Manage the full shipment lifecycle from quoting to booking.
• Manage the full shipment lifecycle from quoting to booking, tracking, and billing.
• Monitor market rates and adjust pricing strategies for profitability.
• Utilize TMS systems and other logistics tools for load management and reporting.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain long‑term client partnerships.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Compensation:

Commission-Based

Commission: 70/30 split on non-asset-based freight (70% to the broker)

Position Overview

The Freight Broker will be responsible for developing shipper relationships, managing the cradle-to-grave brokerage process, and driving profitable freight growth. This role is ideal for a motivated logistics professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong network of shipper or carrier contacts.

Key Responsibilities
