Job summary

Circle Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative with freight brokerage experience to identify new opportunities, win customers, and grow a book of business.

You will be the primary contact for accounts while our operations team manages freight execution. This high-performance role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, with a remote option for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone or the Toledo, OH office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in freight brokerage selling services.
• Experience prospecting and building a book of business through outbound sales.
• No existing book of business required.
• Strong cold calling, prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
• Highly motivated, resilient, and competitive with a strong desire to win.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business through outbound activities.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified shipping opportunities.
• Develop relationships with customers by understanding their transportation needs and proposing freight solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and service offerings to create value for customer and company.
• Onboard new customers and coordinate with operations for freight execution.
• Grow customer relationships and identify additional shipping opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records, sales activity, and forecasting.
• Meet activity, KPI, and revenue targets.
