Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage fraud case types, review predictive reports, and act on accounts. The role collaborates with technical partners to analyze patterns and supports fraud prevention initiatives from a primarily home-based setting.

The position requires strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, plus proficiency with MS Office. Travel to branches may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ~12-months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a financial related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Primarily work from home setting.
• Travel to other branches or locations required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a broad range of fraud case types and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives.
• Review predictive reports daily and take appropriate actions on accounts.
• Collaborate with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Participate in Fraud Team area-related projects and training/education of members and employees on fraud related topics.
