Job summary

North American Search Group is seeking a remote Manager to lead an analytics team focused on signaling detection and rapid mitigation of fraud patterns. You will oversee dashboards and cross-functional defenses, driving AI/ML optimization and robust feature improvements with ML engineers.

Responsibilities include owning operational metrics, mentoring junior analysts, and shaping core risk strategies with leadership, product, engineering, and fraud ops.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fraud analytics.
• Startup experience is a major plus.
• Proficient in SQL and Python; strong statistical analysis, data wrangling, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Signal Detection: Lead an analytics team in analyzing massive behavioral and transactional datasets to uncover hidden fraud and abuse patterns.
• Rapid Mitigation: Build monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and agile defenses to combat emerging fraud threats cross-functionally.
• AI & ML Optimization: Track and optimize AI agent performance for Fraud Ops, partnering with Machine Learning engineers to translate fraud insights into robust model feature improvements.
• Metrics & Reporting: Own key operational efficiency metrics and regular reporting to quantify fraud savings.
• Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and elevate junior data analysts while driving technical excellence through code and design reviews.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with leadership, product, engineering, and fraud ops to define core risk strategies.
• Set the standard for the team in terms of analytical thinking and excellence.
