Job summary

affirm is a remote-first company focused on transparent credit and fraud risk management. The role leads fraud analytics, owning performance metrics, and refining verification and risk processes for depository products.

You will build data models, dashboards, and scorecards, and work closely with Product, Engineering, ML, and Risk teams to optimize fraud strategies and support new product launches.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, ML, and risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance metrics for depository products, including losses, approval rates, false positives, and customer friction.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformations.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards for fraud portfolio health and risks.
• Lead testing and evaluation of fraud strategy changes; partner with product and engineering.
