Job summary

ServiceMaster Brands is seeking a dynamic Business Development Consultant to drive franchisee sales and profit, coach for operational excellence, and enforce brand standards by providing high-level business consulting to a defined group of franchisees.

You will develop plans, perform evaluations, train on financial analysis tools, and lead initiatives across regions while maintaining brand integrity and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business operations management or related field.
• Experience in project management, leadership, budgets, profit & loss, supervision, customer service and conflict resolution.
• Sales experience in the service industry preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed, including overnight.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; MVR check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual sales, marketing, and financial plans for each franchisee.
• Perform business evaluations.
• Track and analyze data, make recommendations, build commitment, overcome objections.
• Provide training and advise franchisees on financial analysis tools (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, KPIs, pricing).
• Identify business needs and opportunities to improve performance and growth.
• Facilitate learning and sharing of best practices through various formats.
• Ensure full brand standards compliance across products, equipment, processes and initiatives.
• Provide action plans with timing to resolve any system noncompliance.
• Perform field audits for quality assurance.
• Assist Directors of Business Development in regional initiatives and market expansion.
• Act as lead for conventions and events, owning content and logistics.
• Represent the business unit in franchise councils and related responsibilities.
• Serve as liaison for Franchisee renewals, collections, insurance, royalties, etc.
• Operate a motor vehicle for field audits and site visits.
