Treewalk Consulting Inc. is seeking a seasoned financial leader to manage the day-to-day finance engine for Indigenous governments and organizations.

You will own a portfolio as fractional controller, ensuring clean books, disciplined closes, and audit-ready files while maintaining work-life balance with flexible remote options. You will lead multi-entity accounting, oversee funding reporting, and coach staff to scale internal controls and processes across clients.

Competenze

• CPA designation required and experience in controllership or audit prep.
• Experience with Indigenous governments or not-for-profits is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PSAS/ASNPO and fund accounting.

Mansioni

• Lead month-end and year-end close across a portfolio, ensuring timely, review-ready reports.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll and cash management, stepping in as fractional controller when needed.
• Prepare year-end audit files and lead schedules, coordinate with external auditors.
