We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Fractional Controller to provide part-time financial leadership and oversight. This role is ideal for a senior finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can deliver high-level financial strategy while remaining hands-on with core accounting and reporting functions.

The Fractional Controller will partner with executive leadership to strengthen financial operations, improve reporting accuracy, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and general accounting operations.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across financial processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Advise on pricing strategies, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
• Support banking relationships, treasury oversight, and financing initiatives as needed.
• Assist with due diligence, M&A activity, or restructuring initiatives if applicable.
• Evaluate and improve financial systems, workflows, and ERP utilization (SAP, QuickBooks, BI tools, etc.).
• Establish KPIs and real-time reporting dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Build scalable processes that support growth while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including Controller or Head of Finance roles.
• Experience providing financial leadership in multi-entity or growth-focused environments.
• Strong background in financial reporting, treasury management, and governance.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial transformation initiatives (SAP HANA, Hyperion, BI platforms preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced financial analytics tools.
• Experience in aviation, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or start-up environments preferred.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a part-time capacity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with executive leadership.
