Job summary

Vessel Advisors is seeking a fractional Controller who will direct all accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, tax coordination and internal controls across multi-entity real estate projects and related operations. This hands-on leader will oversee Sage Intacct, AI-enabled workflows and multi-agent processes, guiding junior staff and coordinating with external CPAs to deliver timely, reliable financial information.

Location: USA, fully remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CCIFP or Master's preferred.
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting leadership in commercial/industrial real estate and construction.
• GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, job cost accounting familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, tax coordination, and internal controls.
• Oversee Sage Intacct reporting, system modifications, and AI-driven workflow enhancements.
• Lead multi-entity consolidations, project cost tracking, and audit/tax coordination.
• Provide fractional leadership and manage AI orchestration for workflows.
