Job summary

WP Engine is hiring an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and decision-making as the company scales. You will manage Adaptive Insights administration, collaborate with G&A, HR, Legal, and other stakeholders, and drive transparency in forecasting.

You’ll handle monthly close, P&L analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc modeling, leveraging advanced Excel/Google Sheets and source-system integrations (Workday, NetSuite, BigQuery). This is a remote-first, collaborative role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Power user of Workday Adaptive Insights.
• Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with financial modeling and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Admin Workday Adaptive Insights: user management, model maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Optimize integration with source systems (Workday Financials, NetSuite, BigQuery).
• Ensure data integrity across NetSuite, Workday, and Adaptive.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close reporting with P&L commentary and analysis.
• Own recurring reporting packages and templates; support board deliverables and long-range planning.
• Assist in ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling.
• Act as finance contact for G&A leaders; support budget vs. actuals and headcount planning.
• Facilitate quarterly planning cycles with G&A leaders and input global assumptions into Adaptive.
