NetFoundry, the company behind OpenZiti, is hiring founding Sales Development Representatives to build the outbound engine for Zero Trust connectivity. This hunter role targets cybersecurity, cloud, and AI infra teams and offers a path to AE; join a founder‑led GTM, collaborate with AEs and marketing to shape our first outbound motions.

This remote‑first, globally distributed team emphasizes real ownership, multi‑channel outreach, and rapid learning in a category‑defining startup.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in outbound SDR/BDR or inside sales, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise tech.
• Track record with activity, meetings booked, pipeline sourced, quota attainment.
• Willingness to cold call and resilience to keep going when the day is tough.
• Comfort with technical buyers and curiosity about firewalls, service meshes, and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound pipeline generation into defined enterprise accounts.
• Cold call daily as the core activity.
• Run multi‑channel outbound across phone, email, and LinkedIn with real personalization.
• Conduct discovery to surface pain like firewall/VPN sprawl and exposed APIs.
• Book qualified meetings for AEs and hit pipeline targets.
• Build account plans with AEs and cross‑team collaboration.
• Provide rapid market feedback to help adjust messaging.
