Job summary

FullStack is hiring for a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will embed with client teams, identify AI-worthy work, architect systems, build them, and ensure they run in production environments.

This three-way role blends consultant, operator, and engineer skills, with a focus on applying agents inside real client workflows and delivery pipelines. You’ll work with regulated industries and Fortune 500 clients, shaping architecture, governance, and milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with a mainstream stack (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years building and shipping LLM-powered AI systems beyond prototypes.
• Advanced English required.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Hands-on with frontier AI tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Experience evaluating environments and defining technical roadmaps.
• Experience with APIs, event-driven and distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Delivery ownership across CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Discover by running workshops with business and engineering stakeholders.
• Structure process and specs for automation that AI systems can reliably execute.
• Architect and design end-to-end agentic systems: orchestration, retrieval, and guardrails.
• Build working systems: agents, multi-step automations, internal tooling, integration layers.
• Engineer the delivery system: own CI/CD, testing, and environments.
• Consult: defend decisions to CTOs, VPs, and leadership; support pre-sales scoping.
