Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with a client in the banking, lending, or payments space. You will build AI systems that run inside their business, writing most of the code and ensuring compliance and long-term operability.

As part of a senior-focused team, you will own a workstream end-to-end, integrate with legacy cores, and collaborate with client engineers. Remote within the US, with a strong emphasis on governance, risk, and security reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software in client environments with AI/LLM integrations.
• Strong experience embedding within a bank, lender, or payments environment.
• Fluency in Python and TypeScript; skilled across major cloud platforms and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to work with legacy systems and governance/compliance needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions in a client environment from concept to handoff.
• Collaborate with Praxent engineers and client teams to align with regulatory and security reviews.
• Design and implement scalable, secure AI systems integrated with real-world data.
• Own workstreams and communicate clearly to stakeholders throughout the project.
