Job summary

Praxent is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with a client in the banking/payments space and build AI systems that run inside their business. Architects set system shape while you drive production code and navigate compliance hurdles.

You will own workstreams end-to-end, ensuring clean integration with legacy systems, governed data, and client infrastructure. Collaboration with client engineers is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software for real users
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript; comfort with cloud, containers, and CI/CD
• Experience embedding within a client environment with real-world data
• Ability to hold technical conversations with client engineers
• Banking/Payments domain experience; risk/compliance exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Ship dependable AI features in the client environment
• Own end-to-end work streams from problem to delivered solution
• Integrate AI with legacy cores, governed data, and identity/infrastructure
• Create runbooks, guardrails, and handoffs for client teams
• Earn client trust through clear communication and reliable delivery
