Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with client banks, lenders, or payments firms, building AI systems that run in their production environment. You own a workstream, produce production software, and ensure clean integration with legacy cores and governed data.

You will collaborate with Praxent engineers and client teams to deliver deployable, compliant solutions, writing most of the code and handing off with clear documentation and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software that others depend on.
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript; comfort with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience embedding within a client environment and working with legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver shipped AI features in the client's environment with compliance and reliability.
• Own workstreams end-to-end from problem understanding to delivered solution.
• Integrate with client cores, governed data, and infrastructure as-a-service.
• Create runbooks and handoffs so the client can operate the system independently.
