Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with a client in the banking/payments sector, delivering end-to-end AI-enabled systems that meet compliance and reliability requirements. You will write production code, shape system architecture, and work closely with client engineers and Praxent teams to hand off a complete solution.

The role requires 3+ years shipping production software, fluency in Python and/or TypeScript, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software in client environments.
• Direct experience with LLM/agentic systems (RAG, vector stores, evals) is ideal.
• Experience banking, lending, or payments and working with risk/compliance partners.

Responsibilities

• Embed with a Praxent client and deliver a documented, production-ready AI system.
• End-to-end ownership from problem understanding to handoff.
• Integrate with legacy cores, governed data, and secure infra.
• Speak directly with client engineers and Praxent peers to ensure alignment.
