Job summary

Praxent, a trusted partner to banks and financial platforms, is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will embed with a Praxent client to design and deliver AI systems that run in production, writing code, and guiding through compliance gates.

You will own end-to-end workstreams and ensure clean integration with client environments. You will collaborate with Praxent engineers, product managers, and client teams to deploy AI that meets regulatory requirements and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software that other people depended on.
• Direct experience with LLM and agentic systems (RAG, agent frameworks, vector stores, evals) is ideal.
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript, and comfort with major cloud providers, containers, and CI/CD.
• Experience embedded within a client environment interacting with real-world systems and data.
• Ability to hold technical conversations with a client’s engineers.
• Banking, lending, or payments experience with risk/compliance involvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipped, dependable AI in the client’s environment with long-term handoffs.
• Manage an end-to-end work stream from understanding problem to delivered solution.
• Ensure AI integrates with legacy cores, governed data, and identity/infrastructure.
• Create runbooks, guardrails, and handoffs for the client team to operate independently.
