Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client banks, lenders, or payments companies and build AI systems that run inside their business. You will own end-to-end workstreams, delivering production-ready solutions that meet strict compliance and integration requirements.

You'll work with Senior Forward Deployed Engineers and Product Managers, collaborating across engineering, data, and client teams to ship dependable AI features that fit real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software with LLM/agentic systems (RAG, agent frameworks, vector stores, evals)
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript, and comfort with a major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, and CI/CD
• Experience embedded within a client environment integrating with real-world systems and data

Responsibilities

• Shipped, dependable AI in the client's environment that meets functional and compliance requirements and endures handoff
• Own an end-to-end work stream from understanding the client's problem to a delivered, documented solution
• AI that fits their world with clean integration to legacy cores, governed data, and their identity/infrastructure
• Create runbooks and handoffs so the client team can operate the system independently
• Earn client trust through clear communication and reliable follow-through
