Job summary

Praxent, a Forward Deployed Engineer role, seeks engineers who embed with clients in the US to deploy AI systems inside complex banking and payments environments. You will own substantial code, work directly with client teams, and deliver compliant, production-ready solutions that survive handoff and ongoing use.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software that others depend on.
• Direct experience with LLM and agentic systems preferred.
• Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript; cloud and CI/CD experience.
• Experience embedded with a client environment integrating with real-world systems.
• Banking, lending, or payments experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipped, dependable AI in the client's environment with agentic features.
• Own a work stream end-to-end from understanding to delivered solution.
• Ensure AI fits client environments with legacy cores, governed data, and identity/infrastructure.
• Create runbooks, evals, guardrails, and handoffs for client ops.
• Build trust with client engineers through clear communication and reliability.
