Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group seeks an experienced fire investigator to determine origin and cause for diverse incidents. You will perform on-site forensics, collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare comprehensive reports for subrogation and litigation purposes.

The role requires 5+ years in fire investigation, AAS in Fire Science, and relevant certifications; remote work offered with residential eligibility in target area. Strong analytical and client communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High level analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interact and communicate with clients at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD/electronic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate origin and cause of fires/explosions in various settings.
• Secure scenes and preserve evidence; document findings.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide testimony as needed.
