Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to drive new business across Florida from a remote base, with Orlando or Tampa as a preferred home location. You will target college professors, secure publishing agreements, and support authors through the publication process.

The ideal candidate is energetic, articulate, and results-driven, with a hunter mentality and strong organizational skills. Travel up to 30% is required, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience selling intangible products or services preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30% (including overnight visits).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand a Florida sales territory, with a home base in Orlando or Tampa.
• Identify and prospect college professors for customized textbooks and digital learning solutions.
• Coordinate campus visits, schedule appointments, and conduct presentations and product demonstrations.
• Build relationships with educators by understanding curriculum needs and affordability concerns.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting through negotiations and signed agreements.
• Coordinate publishing projects with internal teams to support launches.
• Track activity and maintain records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
