Job summary

First Business Bank is seeking an experienced Account Manager for Floorplan Financing in a fully remote role. You will manage an established portfolio of automotive dealer relationships, focusing on credit quality, collateral monitoring, and financial analysis to drive portfolio performance.

You will lead annual reviews, monitor risk indicators, and collaborate with underwriting to present recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in floorplan lending, inventory financing, or automotive commercial lending.
• Commercial credit analysis and financial statement review.
• Dealer inventory and collateral monitoring.
• Portfolio and concentration risk management.
• Knowledge of risk ratings and credit administration.
• Familiarity with loan covenants and covenant compliance.
• Experience with annual reviews and renewals.
• Ability to identify deteriorating credit and develop action plans.
• Ability to prepare and communicate credit recommendations to senior leadership or Loan Committee.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned floorplan portfolio in line with loan policies and procedures.
• Continuously evaluate dealer financial performance, inventory, operations and credit quality.
• Analyze and verify collateral positions with floorplan operations.
• Monitor financial statements, loan performance, covenants, audits and risk indicators.
• Recommend timely risk rating changes based on client performance or credit quality.
• Identify emerging credit concerns and develop action plans or exit strategies.
• Maintain complete and accurate client credit and legal files.
• Prepare renewals and annual reviews for clients in the portfolio.
• Prepare credit information for quarterly portfolio reviews.
• Communicate credit recommendations and portfolio performance to senior management and Loan Committee.
• Partner with underwriting to prepare credit presentations and recommendations.
• Develop understanding of each dealer's business model, financials, inventory and financing needs.
• Maintain regular client communication and nurture long-term relationships.
• Support new business through pre-proposal discussions and prospect evaluations.
