Job summary

Ladders seeks a Flight Software Verification Engineer to help verify safety-critical flight software for advanced aircraft systems. You will shape verification strategy and develop compliant tools in a highly collaborative setting.

Remote position with exposure to flight hardware, tools development, and certification support across engineering disciplines. Engage in autonomy-related capabilities and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C or C++.
• Experience in safety-critical software verification for DO-178C or similar standards.
• Familiarity with requirements-based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the DO-178C verification strategy and its implementation.
• Develop tools for effective and compliant software verification.
• Oversee and write test development documentation.
• Conduct tool qualification per DO-178C/DO-330 standards.
