Job summary

Reliable Robotics seeks a Sr. Flight Software Verification Engineer to verify embedded software for sensors and control systems, working with flight hardware in the lab and on the aircraft. You will plan flight tests and ensure the software safely flies the vehicle.

You will contribute to the DO-178C verification strategy, develop tooling, and oversee test development and tool qualification to meet aviation safety standards. A strong background in C/C++ and DO-178C is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with C or C++.
• Experience in safety-critical verification to meet DO-178C objectives.
• Experience with requirements-based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to DO-178C verification strategy and implementation.
• Create tooling to support software verification in a compliant environment.
• Oversee and author test development.
• Perform tool qualification in accordance with DO-178C/DO-330.
