Job summary

Reliable Robotics seeks a Flight Software Verification Engineer to verify embedded software for sensors and control systems aboard aircraft. You will help define DO-178C verification strategy, develop tooling, and lead test development in a lab environment, ensuring safety-critical compliance and robust fault handling.

You will collaborate across the autonomy stack, work with Hardware-In-The-Loop environments, and contribute to certification efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with C or C++.
• Experience in safety-critical verification of software to achieve DO-178C objectives or comparable standard.
• Experience with requirements based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments.

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the DO-178C verification strategy and implementation
• Create tooling to provide an effective and compliant environment for software verification
• Oversee and author test development
• Perform tool qualification in accordance with DO-178C/DO-330
