Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Flight Software Verification Engineer to verify embedded software interfacing with sensors and control systems in aerospace hardware. The role involves planning flight tests, working with flight hardware in the lab and on the plane, and contributing to the verification and certification of the autonomy stack.

The candidate will implement DO-178C verification strategies, develop test tooling, and oversee test development across unit and hardware-in-the-loop

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with C or C++
• Experience in safety-critical verification of software to achieve DO-178C objectives or comparable standard
• Experience with requirements based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the DO-178C verification strategy and implementation
• Create tooling to provide an effective and compliant environment for software verification
• Oversee and author test development
• Perform tool qualification in accordance with DO-178C/DO-330
